Mosaic is a full-suite solutions provider—including data analytics, point of sale, purchasing and inventory management —to the food and beverage, hospitality and retail sectors across SE Asia. This includes multi-unit restaurant groups, cloud kitchens, hotels, and retailers. Mosaic’s cloud-based solutions work together seamlessly, as well as with complementary products, enabling a fully integrated restaurant management solution. Additionally, Mosaic’s analytics solution now is used across retail operations as a way for landlords to monitor tenant and overall shopping centre performance more closely.
Currently, Mosaic services over 75 customers, representing approximately1,000 locations across the Philippines, including some of the best-known brands in the industry.
Mosaic sells products using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model – this cost-effective monthly subscription further helps clients optimize cash flow by avoiding large upfront costs typical for some other software providers. Given this SaaS model, Mosaic also benefits from a highly recurring revenue model. Mosaic has grown its customer base (measured as number of outlets) at an annual rate of 135% from 2018 to 2021, including significant growth during the pandemic.
Mosaic was able to raise more than USD 2.5 million over the past 18 months (during the pandemic) to help fund growth in the Philippines market and continued product enhancement. Mosaic will further strengthen its efforts to support off-premise food purveyors and retailers, while continuing to delight its core restaurant customers.
Besides seeking further growth in the Philippines market, next steps for Mosaic will include regional expansion supported by a Series A capital raise presently planned for 2022.
